AC/DC PWR UP @ Wembly, London, 2024

We’ve been to AC/DC!

There is something exciting about AC/DC every single time I hear a song. They are rebelious, unapologetically fun and show their personality with each song they and performance. For as long as I can remember I’ve listened to them and they are a part of me. Going to their concert was a fantasting experience which made me love them even more.

We bought the tickets via Viagogo on 16th of February and the concert was on 3rd July. Front pitch standing, costed us £325 per person. It felt like a long time ahead but time passed faster than what we imagined.

The day has finally came and the Wembly doors opened at 5pm. We arrived around 3.30pm, had a drink and a walk around. It was already getting crowded by fans wanting to get a T-shirt. I was one of them! Looking at the crowd there was alomst impossible to spot someone without an AC/DC T-shirt. Hundreds of people and ten thoushands later on came here for one reason: to see the legends. At the queue there was a calmness which i’ve never imagines I would witnesses it before a rock concert.

The concert was opened by The Pretty Reckless around 7.30pm. Taylor Momsen was fantasing and interacted with the public. AC/DC began their masterpiece at 8.30pm and finished at 10.30pm. With each song people were jumping and the ground was shaking. All hands were in the air and the coround’s noise was louder than the musinc. There was excitemenet everytwhere and each person got filled up with adrenaline and extas. Hundreds of people for one goal, for one band, for the only band that weights the heaviest in rock n’ roll. Brian’s Johnsons voice was fantastic, he played with the crowd and made us sing louder and louder. Angus was the cherry on top. He was just like in this youger years, I couldn’t spot any difference. He was wild, all his heart was into his guitas solo’s and momenents. He jumped on the stange, lied down and play guitar like there is no tomorrow. The stage raised him like the father of Gibson guitars. He got up with the same energy and finished his solo between Cannons shooting fire. No one took a breat this time, we all shouted until the fireworks were done.

To experience was impressive. I’ve looked at the concert and admired the determination to have fun at any age. They are AC/DC because they are born to do so. Aoart from seing them as great singers, players and performers I see them as examples to follow in life. It was worth every penny, and if you have the ocassios to see the bread and butter, I highly encourage you to do so.
